Building Birdhouses

Exhibition Statement

They are birdhouses of a sort. Living and dead birds are
captured with a camera. Dead birds are easier to catch. The
birdhouses become fully furnished, gradually. What the birds
are doing in the houses is not entirely up to them, but they
can be rather willful. Their archetypal meanings are powerful
and always wanting to exert control. My formed and forming
worldview mediates the meanings through forming. In
formed images I discover reverence for nature and otherlife.
